New Jersey Chemistry Olympics is in Need of Sponsors
Sponsor the next generation of New Jersey chemists The premier high school chemistry competition in New Jersey has been inspiring the next generation of scientists for 38 years. Each May, about 300 students from across the state come to NJIT to compete in hands-on laboratory, research, and communication events, judged by scientists from the university, industry, and the American Chemical Society. The NJ Olympics Program needs your help. Sponsors give the Olympics a stable base, keep registration affordable for every school, and make possible what fees alone cannot. Why sponsor the Olympics Real chemistry. Students design experiments, build and calibrate instruments, write laboratory procedures, and defend their results under questioning from judges. Open to every school. Public, private, and magnet schools compete on the same terms. Sponsorship keeps the registration fee low so that clubs without district funding can take part. Contact with working scientists. Your scientists can judge, coordinate an event, and address 300 future chemists at the awards ceremony. Bristol Myers Squibb scientists judged in 2026. A recognized program. NJCO has received an ACS Salute to Excellence award and the 2022 ACS ChemLuminary Award. Ways to give Financial gifts.
