National Chemistry Week 2007

October 21-27 2007

Theme: “The Many Faces of Chemistry”

New Jersey Resources for the National Chemistry Week Poster Contest

Middle School and High School

Students can click on links below and find photos of Chemistry faculty members in NJ -- literally some of the "many faces of chemistry". In some cases there is also information about the faculty member and his/her research.  If they scroll down in some cases they will see members of the faculty member’s research team.

In addition, this link is a document that tells teachers and students how to find minorities -- who are also the faces of chemistry. It is curriculum material that teachers can use to conduct research and classroom activities. Some of this material was presented by Jeannette Brown at the American Chemical Society meeting in Boston in the symposium on the 20th Anniversary of NCW.
